1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Remio, operated by Peakaso s. r. o., a Slovak limited liability company with its registered address at Farská 1342/50, 949 01 Nitra, Slovakia, Company ID: 56114044.

These Terms apply to remioplay.com, game pages, search, categories, tags, reactions, favorites, recent games, developer pages, support channels, and related features.

By accessing, playing, registering, submitting content, or otherwise using Remio, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Privacy Policy and any additional rules shown for a particular game, promotion, account feature, submission, or third-party service also apply where relevant.

2. Who May Use Remio

Remio is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. You may not use Remio if you are under 13 or below the minimum age at which you may legally use an online service in your country.

If you are under the age required in your country to use online services independently, you may use Remio only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

3. The Remio Service

Remio provides a portal for browsing, searching, and playing browser-based games. Some games may be hosted by Remio, and others may be embedded from developers, publishers, distributors, advertising partners, or other third-party providers.

Subject to these Terms, Remio grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to access the service and play available games for lawful, personal, non-commercial entertainment. No ownership or other rights are transferred to you.

We may add, remove, reorder, moderate, block, update, limit, or discontinue games, pages, features, categories, tags, accounts, or availability at any time for editorial, commercial, security, technical, legal, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee that a particular game, save, score, ranking, or feature will remain available.

4. Player Accounts and Local Features

Most browsing and gameplay on Remio does not require a player account. Some features, such as saved games, favorites, recent games, notifications, or profile-related features, may depend on cookies, local storage, or account access where available.

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information, keep it reasonably current, use only an account you are authorized to use, and not sell, transfer, share, or misuse the account.

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account or browser session. Notify us promptly if you reasonably believe an account has been compromised.

You may request account deletion through available account controls or by contacting us. Deletion may not immediately remove information that must be retained for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate backup cycles.

5. Rules of Conduct

You agree not to misuse Remio or interfere with other players, developers, partners, or the operation of the service.

  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, probe, bypass, or attack Remio systems.
  • Do not systematically collect, download, extract, or reuse Remio content or data, including for training machine-learning or artificial-intelligence systems, without our prior written permission.
  • Do not use automated requests, bots, scripts, or fraudulent traffic to manipulate plays, reactions, rankings, analytics, advertising, or search.
  • Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, malicious, exploitative, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent rights in a submitted game, or hide the true source of content.
  • Do not use Remio to distribute malware, phishing, scams, unauthorized ads, tracking code, or harmful downloads.

6. Games, Third Parties, and Embedded Content

Third-party games and embedded content may be operated under separate terms, privacy policies, community rules, age ratings, advertising settings, purchase flows, analytics tools, or technical requirements.

If rules for a particular third-party game conflict with these Terms, the third-party rules govern your relationship with that provider and that game only; these Terms continue to govern your use of Remio.

Remio does not control every action, update, claim, availability change, ad, data practice, leaderboard, multiplayer feature, account system, or in-game purchase offered by a third-party provider. Your use of third-party content is at your own risk and may be governed by that provider's terms.

A third-party game, advertisement, or link does not imply that Remio endorses every statement, product, service, or practice of that third party.

Unless Remio expressly identifies itself as the seller, purchases, virtual currency, virtual items, subscriptions, refunds, and payment disputes offered inside a game are transactions between you and the relevant developer, distributor, store, or payment provider. Their purchase and refund terms apply, and Remio does not receive or store full payment-card details for those transactions.

7. Ads, Analytics, and Monetization

Remio may display advertising, sponsored placements, affiliate links, analytics, fraud-prevention tools, or measurement technologies to operate and fund free access to games.

Where required, Google Privacy & Messaging or another applicable consent interface provides choices for optional advertising and analytics processing. Declining optional processing does not by itself remove access to basic gameplay, although some advertising, personalization, measurement, or third-party functionality may be limited.

Advertising and analytics partners may apply their own eligibility rules, technical controls, privacy choices, and limited or non-personalized modes. More information about data practices and how to change a choice is available in the Privacy Policy and through the privacy settings control.

8. Game Submissions and Developer Content

If you submit a game, build, artwork, description, metadata, developer profile, update, or other material to Remio, you represent that you have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions needed to provide it.

You grant Remio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, cache, reproduce, display, distribute, promote, categorize, translate, resize, crop, adapt for technical delivery, and otherwise use submitted material for operating, marketing, improving, and making Remio available.

You are responsible for ensuring that submitted content complies with applicable laws, platform policies, third-party SDK rules, advertising rules, privacy rules, and any required disclosures.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, you retain ownership of material you submit. You authorize Remio to identify you or your studio as the developer or provider and to edit metadata, descriptions, thumbnails, or presentation for formatting, localization, safety, search, accessibility, and promotion.

If you send suggestions, ideas, error reports, or other feedback, you permit Remio to use, adapt, disclose, and commercialize that feedback without restriction or payment, but this does not transfer ownership of a game or other separately submitted copyrighted work.

9. Intellectual Property

Remio, including its brand, site design, original text, software, logos, and service structure, is owned by Remio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Games, artwork, names, characters, trademarks, music, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Listing or embedding a game on Remio does not transfer ownership to Remio or to players.

Recording, streaming, publishing screenshots, or monetizing gameplay may require permission from the relevant game owner and the platform where you publish. Remio does not grant rights in third-party music, characters, trademarks, or game content that it does not own.

10. Rights and Takedown Requests

If you believe content on Remio infringes your rights, contact contact@remioplay.com with enough information for us to identify the content and review the claim.

A useful notice should include the affected URL, a description of the protected work or right, your contact details, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.

We may remove, disable, restrict, or reinstate content after review and may forward relevant details to the person or provider responsible for the content where appropriate.

11. Safety, Moderation, and Enforcement

We may investigate suspected abuse, security issues, rights violations, policy breaches, fraudulent activity, harmful content, or unlawful behavior.

We may block requests, limit features, remove content, suspend or terminate access or accounts, contact providers, preserve records, or cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, rights holders, service providers, or safety partners when appropriate.

We may take immediate action where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users or systems, reduce legal exposure, address suspected exploitation or abuse, enforce these Terms, or comply with law. Where appropriate and legally permitted, you may contact us to ask for a review.

When access or an account ends, your license to use Remio ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, submitted-content licenses, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms, remain effective.

12. Privacy

The Remio Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected and how you can exercise privacy choices. The Privacy Policy is a notice, and acknowledging it does not mean that you consent to optional processing; consent is requested separately where required.

13. Disclaimers

Remio is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the service, games, ads, links, search, rankings, categories, translations, statistics, or third-party content will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, available in every location, or suitable for your needs.

Some games may contain flashing visuals, sound, ads, multiplayer interactions, difficulty spikes, external links, or themes that are not suitable for every player. Use reasonable care and stop playing if a game causes discomfort.

You are responsible for your device, internet connection, browser compatibility, backups, and decisions to follow third-party links or complete third-party transactions. Remio does not warrant that third-party content is accurate, safe, lawful in every jurisdiction, or free from defects.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remio and its owners, operators, team members, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, availability, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use Remio.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remio's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to Remio for the relevant service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or EUR 100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, intentional misconduct, or any other liability or mandatory consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to compensate Remio for losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful commercial use of the service, material breach of these Terms, submitted content, or infringement of another person's rights. This section does not remove or reduce mandatory rights available to consumers and does not require a consumer to compensate Remio beyond what applicable law permits.

16. Changes to Remio or These Terms

We may update these Terms when Remio, applicable law, security requirements, third-party services, or our business model changes. The latest version will be posted with an updated date, and material changes may be highlighted through the service or account contact details where appropriate.

Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using Remio and may close your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

17. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

Courts in Slovakia will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law allows a consumer to bring or defend a claim in another competent court. Before filing a claim, we encourage you to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

These Terms, together with policies and additional terms expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement concerning your use of Remio. If one provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms or your account without our consent; Remio may transfer them in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, or sale of the service, subject to applicable law.

Remio is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including internet or hosting outages, cyberattacks, labor disputes, natural disasters, government action, war, or failure of third-party infrastructure.
